Sailing Angles – Product Overview

I first came across the Sailing Angles line of products at the boat show shortly after I had started racing. Honestly, there were two things that attracted me initially. First, they were having a great boat show special on the rugged shorts & trousers. That drew me into the booth. Secondly, they offered a lot of different colors and patterns of fabric in the women’s products. So, I snatched up a pair of shorts and trousers from that boat show venture. When I tried them on, I realized they fit me in both the hips AND the waist — in the same pair of shorts — all at the same time! Sorry for the detour. I get pretty excited sometimes because it’s really hard for me to find shorts or trousers that fit both my waist & hips at the same time. Usually I find that one area fits and the other area is too tight or too loose.

This year during the same Annapolis Sailboat Show, I stopped back and spent some time with Donald Elliott to learn more about Sailing Angles and their products. The following videos share information about various products in the Sailing Angles offerings. The first video details the benefits of the rugged shorts and underwear. The second video discusses the integrated padding that is designed into the garments. The last video will tell you more about garments specific to different types of one design sailing. Task specific padding has been integrated there – depending on the specifics of different tasks on each type of boat.
